• At the south end of Otorohanga township and the Waipa River bridge
  (on State Highway 3) turn onto Otewa Road
  
  
• Drive under the overhead railway bridge
  
  
• Follow Otewa Road for approximately 12 kilometres
  
  
• Turn right onto Barber Road
  
  
• Travel for another 2.29 kms to 229 Barber Road
  
  
• Kamahi Cottage and the homestead are on the left, clearly sign-posted:
  "Kamahi - E.J. & E.M. Cowan"
